Thank you DOLL PARTS for making our wedding as special as it was. I just can't even put into words how grateful we are to you guys. Everyone had such a great time watching and listening to you play, and you really got everyone up on their feet dancing. SO MANY people were talking about how great you were, and I could NOT shut up about it for weeks. I still won't! What could be more awesome than a Brooklyn-rooted Dolly Parton cover band? Their name alone could make me smile for days. I've seen Doll Parts play dozens of times around the city and am always telling similarly-minded music fans that they HAVE to check them out. So I was psyched to learn that they were available to play at my wedding reception. If "Nine to Five" doesn't get your friends on to the dance floor, it's possible you need more fun friends. ;) Ukes, drums, guitar, amazing vocals! I have been a fan of Doll Parts for a long time, and I was completely thrilled when they were available to play at my wedding on very short notice. Communication was easy and straightforward, they arrived early to set up and do a sound check, they looked great (which is important since they are in my wedding photos!), and the performance?? What an incredible, energy-filled show they put on, and even customized some songs, and fit in a funny speech about us! It was exactly what we were looking for - everybody got up and danced! Doll Parts is pure fun. They take their sincere love of Dolly Parton and her music and create a show joyous, raucous, and melodious. The music ranges from classic Dolly to songs she penned for other artists and they put their own special spin and arrangement into each tune. The fun they're having on stage is palpable and infectious.
